Urgent Action Fund-Africa

Rapid funding for African women human rights defenders, organisations and movements responding to urgent, unanticipated and strategic situations.

Who can apply

  • The request must relate to women's human rights and African feminist organising.
  • The situation should be time-urgent and unanticipated.
  • The proposed action must be strategic, sustainable and supported by relevant actors.
  • Different forms apply for rapid response, protection and advocacy or alliance-building needs.

Application steps
