Requirements
- The applicant must be a nonprofit, charitable organisation or equivalent eligible nonprofit entity.
- International applicants must provide equivalent nonprofit or charitable registration documentation.
- The proposed project should create sustainable and measurable community impact.
- The project should be developed with meaningful community participation.
- Applicants should demonstrate strong leadership and responsible financial stewardship.
- Applicants should demonstrate clear organisational capacity to implement the proposed project.
- The project should address a demonstrated community need.
- Applicants must explain how community members participate in planning, implementation and decision-making.
- The proposal must include clear goals, objectives, major activities and an implementation timeline.

Application steps

- Complete all organisational, project, impact, sustainability, risk and budget sections.
- Prepare the most recent financial statements.
- Prepare the organisation’s nonprofit registration or equivalent charitable documentation.
- Prepare the Board of Directors list.
- Prepare the current organisational budget.
- Prepare the detailed project budget.
- Include an annual report if available.
- Include optional strategic plans, letters of support, photos or other supporting materials where useful.
- Sign and date the certification section of the application.
- Combine the completed application and supporting materials into a single PDF whenever possible.
- Email the completed application package to Michelle Della Fortuna, Vice President of Finance & Strategy.
- Submit by 1 November 2026.
Global Grants Hub strategic note
A strong and flexible international funding opportunity for established and emerging nonprofit organisations with clear community roots. TEEEM places unusually strong emphasis on community ownership, measurable outcomes, sustainability and financial accountability. Applicants should avoid presenting one-off charitable activities and instead show how the proposed project will create lasting value through local participation, capacity building, livelihoods, education, health, infrastructure or other sustainable community solutions. Organisations should request a funding level that matches both the scale of the project and their demonstrated implementation capacity.
