GFF × CIVIC VOICES Call for Proposals 2026

GFF × CIVIC Platform / VOICES Consortium (PATH, AFIDEP and Organisation of African Youth)

The GFF × CIVIC VOICES consortium is inviting local civil society, youth-led and community-based organisations in 22 African countries to form advocacy partnerships that strengthen domestic resource mobilisation, accountability and meaningful civil society participation in health decision-making. Up to US$3.35 million will be awarded across the programme, with selected partnerships receiving grants of up to 18 months alongside advocacy training, budget-analysis technical assistance and mentorship.

Requirements

  • Applicants must be local civil society, youth-led and/or community-based organisations.
  • Applicants must operate in one of the 22 eligible African countries.
  • Applications must be submitted as a partnership of at least 2 and no more than 3 organisations.
  • At least one organisation in the partnership must be youth-led.
  • The proposed work should strengthen advocacy and accountability around domestic resource mobilisation for women’s, children’s and adolescent health and nutrition.
  • The partnership should demonstrate meaningful civil society and youth participation in health policy and decision-making.
  • The proposed project must be suitable for implementation within a maximum grant period of 18 months.
  • Applicants must follow the eligibility and submission conditions in the official Call for Proposals.

Application steps

  • Confirm that the organisations operate in one of the 22 eligible countries.
  • Form an advocacy partnership of 2–3 eligible organisations.
  • Ensure that at least one partner is a youth-led organisation.
  • Agree on the lead roles, responsibilities and advocacy priorities of the partnership.
  • Download and complete the official Technical Proposal Submission Template.
  • Download and complete the official budgeting template.
  • Develop an advocacy approach focused on domestic resource mobilisation, accountability and RMNCAH+N priorities.
  • Prepare all organisational and supporting information required by the Call for Proposals.
  • Follow the official submission instructions provided in the Call for Proposals.
  • Submit the complete application by 7 October 2026 at 23:59 EAT.
Global Grants Hub strategic note

A major new Africa-focused opportunity for local CSOs and youth-led organisations working on health advocacy, accountability and public financing. Uganda is explicitly eligible. This is not primarily a health-service delivery grant: strong proposals should focus on influencing domestic health financing, budget decisions, accountability and meaningful participation of communities and young people in health policy. The partnership requirement is critical—2–3 organisations must apply together, and at least one partner must be youth-led.
