Global Grants Hub strategic note

This is a high-value Africa-focused opportunity for locally rooted civil society and youth-led organisations that already have a proven adolescent health or nutrition intervention and are ready to take it beyond initial testing. Applicants should not approach ALIGN with a completely new idea: the call is looking for interventions with credible evidence of previous implementation that can now be adapted, expanded, replicated or integrated into national systems. The CSO–YLO partnership, meaningful adolescent leadership, government engagement and scale-up pathway are central to competitiveness. Applicants should also check financial capacity before choosing the grant amount, because the amount requested cannot exceed the largest project budget successfully managed by the lead organisation during the previous five years.
