Requirements

• The applicant must be a legal entity registered in one of the 15 eligible countries.
• The applicant must operate a medium-sized festival in one of the eligible cultural sectors.
• Only one application may be submitted per organisation.
• Only one cultural sector/theme may be selected in the application.
• The proposed activities must contribute to collaboration among cluster festivals and partnerships with European festivals.
• The proposal should support collaboration, co-production, mobility, networking and/or international marketing.
• Activities should include measures supporting women's participation, with a target of 50 percent participation.
• Activities should include measures supporting participation of people with disabilities.
• Environmental sustainability should be integrated into the implementation plan.
• Applicants must demonstrate organisational and financial capacity through relevant reports from the previous two years.

Application steps

• Review the official Call for Applications and eligibility requirements.
• Select one eligible cultural sector/theme.
• Prepare the organisation profile and legal registration information.
• Prepare a presentation of the festival and its main activities.
• Develop the proposed strategy, objectives, results and activities.
• Describe planned networking, cultural exchanges and European collaboration.
• Explain gender equality, inclusion and environmental sustainability measures.
• Prepare the detailed project budget using the required template.
• Gather the required supporting documents, including legal registration, identity document, financial statements, reports from the last two festival editions, bank documentation and tax compliance documentation.
• Submit the complete application in a single submission through the Goethe Application Portal (GAP).
• Submit in English or French by 20 September 2026 at 22:00 GMT.
