This is a particularly relevant opportunity for small grassroots organisations with established relationships with rural women and a practical community-health intervention. Applicants should note that ACWW membership, at least two years of legal registration and the required 25% applicant contribution are important eligibility conditions. Strong proposals should respond to clearly demonstrated rural women’s health needs and show how the project will improve access to practical, gender-responsive healthcare rather than relying mainly on awareness activities. Women-led organisations, particularly those where women hold most decision-making roles, are especially well aligned with ACWW’s funding approach.
